Our Next Adventure……

Street Photography, Humanist Photography, and Social Photography are all terms that encompass the act of capturing images of people in their natural living and working environments. This can range from street portraits to capturing buildings that bear the evidence of human life. While each photographer who follows these genres may have their own definition, which is fascinating to read about, for me, it is primarily about documenting the human impact on the world.

Although I still consider myself interested in other genres, I must admit that I have recently become a fan of Street Photography. As a traveler, I have come to appreciate the significance of this style of photography, and it has piqued my interest considerably.

Over the past ten years, we have visited America, Africa, and much of Europe , latterly in our motorhome. Despite the stunning landscapes we have encountered, we eventually realised that, while every sunrise is beautiful in its own right, they all start to look the same after a while. Although the imagery still captivates us, we came to the realisation that it does not fully convey the diverse range of locations and cultures we have had the pleasure of visiting.

Having purchased a camera that is well-suited for street photography, we have delved into numerous books and scoured YouTube for expert advice in preparation for our upcoming trip. Our itinerary has been carefully planned to revolve around capturing the essence of street life in the places we will visit.

So join us as we journey through Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, and Belgium.

I hope you enjoy the trip! H and M
